It’s that time of year! The season of holidays is a great way to convince the kids that family time can still be fun.
Especially during the spooky season of Halloween. It’s a great time to get creative with your littles, like getting ready to create costumes, spooky house decor, create some ghost crafts, pumpkin flavored sweets, or choosing some fun kid friendly Halloween movies!
The thing about Halloween is, it’s meant for the spook! Some kid movies are a little too much for the little ones, so I decided to keep the innocent movies and the spooky ones separate.
You don’t want to give the youngest nightmares or traumas. Exposing them to scenarios they are not ready for at that age.
So let’s hit the ballpark with Disney Halloween Movies like “The Book of Life” or “Ghost Patrol” on one list, and “Corpse Bride” and “The Haunted Mansion”, on another.
The not-so-scary list is organized by movies beginning at recommended developmental stages of 5+ then down to toddlerhood.
A lot of these movies are widely loved! Make it special and enjoy these films with some decorated bat cookies and pumpkin spice no-coffee lattes 😉
